La Vita Sarda, Sardinia
La Vita Sarda–Sardinia’s traditional lifestyle, known for its slower pace of living, community and wellbeing.
Natural rhythm, connection to the land, artisanal products, and wild herbs a just a few treasures for the slow Sardinian lifestyle. We’ve been exploring the Island’s most nourishing and skin-loving herb Helichrysum—also known as immortelle. The magical flower and ancient remedy is highly valued in botanical and natural skin care due to its healing and regenerative properties.
If you want a calmer alternative to the well-known Emerald Coast—especially during peak season—look to Siniscola on the east coast of Sardinia. We spent most of our time in the authentic village of Santa Lucia, which sits away from the buzzy Island life. Costa Rei is also well worth a visit, offering a unique vibe that feels more like a holistic community.
I have found artisanal products and natural remedies around the Island from Flor Cosmetics, Insula, Helysol Sardinia and other natural beauty brands.
